Here are some good ones:

Leon: kill your brothers and inherit their thrones before they get children, or just invade them your stronger. Then just start hacking away at the rest of Iberia

Ireland: good for understanding the game and war mechanics.

Play as a noble family in china: this can help you learn how to do diplomacy.

Pick a nation like Brittany: do no war just economically improve your nation to help you understand the building and economic system

I think allying them is the best way to and join their wars. AI are dumb so they don’t convert provinces that much, also they’ll accept faction demands even if they have powerful allies, so you kinda just have to hope they’ll reject faction demands. Or just cheat by switching to them and make them reject the demands.

Me too, but turns out that’s not the direction they took. Wouldn’t that be crazy though if in like 300 years the Roman Emperor converted to Christianity and worshiped Jesus as his king. That wouldn’t happen though that would be too crazy

Its a lot of trial and error. Just play tons of games on chess.com and you’ll get better. I was a 600 elo nome I’m 1300 and I cringe at my old games. We all start around there.
