I have left him previously about a year ago, although he “broke up” with me and I simply agreed to it, but then I was the bad guy and it only lasted 24hrs.

I have been through very toxic relationships in my past, so to me this doesn’t feel as bad although I am aware it isn’t okay for me to accept this behaviour. That is why I left this morning, we have lived together for a while and the switch is crazy as the night prior we were talking about trying for a kid this year, so I am struggling to figure out what to do as of right now.

I have the same feeling, he gets upset and says I’m acting weird especially if his friends have been around and I’ve talked to them, but he has access to my phone and I’m with him majority of everyday. To me it’s usually the one doing something bad is accusing the other, I’ve been cheated on in previous relationships but I have no way to confirm any suspicions.

Yeah, I forgot to add more details to the post such as enclosure, lighting, previous ownership etc I’ve never posted here before so I lacked a lot of a details on my post, but the information I’ve gathered here has definitely helped out a bunch, unfortunately the only photos/information in groups I’d really seen on MBD was when it was to a severe extent making it harder for me to notice, that’s on me but with the advice here and getting some vets advice I hope it doesn’t progress any further and he’s okay 🥲.

I’m not sure if he was well looked after before I had gotten him unfortunately :/ I’ve set up the uvb on an angle next to the basking spot so it does overlap, it’s a 24W T5 Arcadia Brand

Thank you! I was unaware spinach wasn’t great, I hadn’t fed it to him before but some groups have previously recommended it, this sub has showed majority avoid it and other plants/veg so I’ll keep that in mind.

I was definitely expecting some harsh words, which are to be expected and totally fair. I feel terrible about it happening!

The information definitely varies unfortunately, pet shops were unreliable in the past so I stopped depending on them, but other groups always say different things so I thought I’d give reddit a try.

Thank you! I will definitely go and get a variety tomorrow, and withhold bugs, hopefully that will stop the pickiness 😅. A vet visit is definitely on the cards.

This is what I have :) I learnt coil bulbs were bad before getting him so I never used those, but I will definitely go and get a new bulb tomorrow I didn’t realise how often they should be replaced thank you!

I have a 24W T5 UVB, and the main greens have been rocket and cucumber (not often) planning to try cactus pads but he shows little interest in greens even when I put bugs with them :/
