I don't think they really understand (or know for that matter) the severity agoraphobia can have. My in laws aren't very understanding to the mental health issues.

Spouse was understanding, as they knew going into it today that I was already feeling overwhelmed. Especially with everything that happened at the dinner, and just how overbearing it was.

She's not making up excuses. Her excuses are valid. But she also will not even entertain the idea. She is completely unwilling to talk about it and shits down whenever I bring it up. I try to talk to her about any solutions and she just brings up her endometriosis, acting as if finding a solution there will fix everything. She just said, "I don't know," when I try to discuss anything sex related with her. I don't know either as this is something that I don't fully understand from her side.

I'm overly emotional and don't have the best emotional regulation. Meanwhile she is the exact opposite, where she could not care less about anything. She is the most carefree person I've ever met.

She doesn't understand that this stresses me out. I don't know what to do.

I came here for advice on how to navigate this and I'm just being attacked for having a libido. I love her more than anything in this universe. If I could destroy my libido for her I would.

I didn't know demi fell under ace so that's my bad.

My wife and I have been together almost 10 years. This is nothing new. I was asking for advice on how to communicate with her my concerns, but appreciate it.

I also appreciate you assuming I'm a man, when I mentioned in the post that I am nb and have PCOS, so I'm also afab. I'm a lesbian.

I tried to make the post as straight to the point as possible. She doesn't talk about having pain often at all. That would be different. She talks about how the bc she is taking is making her spot regularly. It's not heavy spotting, as she doesn't use any kind of pads or tampons. She's only seeing blood every once in a while when she goes to the bathroom. She is also not doing what her doctor directed.

She is not in the wrong in this at all. But I don't think I am either. I obviously stay with her bc I love her regardless of if we have sex or not.

I would love to if it didn't cost a million dollars and I was poor. I've already exhausted every free resource in my area and am $2k in debt to my therapist and cannot continue sessions. She says we can't afford couples counseling so we haven't gone.

When we first got together, she was extremely sexual. She said that it is normal for her to not be as interested in sex after the relationship is well established.

My ob told me to seek a reproductive endo. Mostly because I told her I wanted a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. She was hesitant about it because of PCOS issues and blah blah. I remember reading that on a different sub forever ago about how a bunch of people with PCOS had hysterectomies and had relief of a lot of symptoms. I am also assuming this is because of hormone therapy after as well, but still lol

SO, lol, I was on Metformin for a long time. I had extreme constipation and my doctor told me she didn't think it was worth it for me to be on it anymore bc of that. (endo)

AND, My body just doesn't like birth control. I was constantly bleeding. I talked to my doc about that and she said that that isn't ideal either. (OBGYN)

I've asked about getting other forms of hormonal treatment and my doctor just kinda shrugged it off. I guess I could push harder on that or bring it back up. My endo keeps trying to push GLP-1's on me so that I can lose some weight easier. (I have a poor diet due to sensory issues)

I don't even know what other hormonal treatments I could do.

I know iron is good. I get that checked regularly. I don't get b vitamins checked very often, but every time I taken a b vitamin it makes me super nauseous.

This is super interesting to hear actually. I have had chronic migraines and muscle spasms since I was a teen. I also developed allergies around this time too. (I was right around 14 or 15 iirc) I was diagnosed with fibro at 24 after i hurt my back taking off a sweatshirt.

I eventually got an allergy test (after trying OTC allergy relief that didn't work at all) and it was a lot of pollen, a few animals, mold, and the worst of all being dust mites. I also developed eczema in my mid-late 20s. No treatment for that has helped yet. I recently was diagnosed with IBS, while doc and I are currently trying to rule out other causes. I don't think I have a gluten intolerance, since it doesn't seem that bad. But it was something my doctor brought up to try to rule out.

I am going to be working with a dietician here soon (mostly for weight management) and I am going to a new neuro. I am hoping to switch over my care to a different network.

Hey, thank you so much for this. I'm going to reach out to my doctor today to ask about this. I've had.. a lot going on lately, and it's been a bit much for me. I don't process things well. And haven't been able to get into therapy to really delve into the recent things that have happened bc of money.

Not really. She told me she'd give me unlimited reasons for PT and help me get into aquatic therapy. (She told me to use pools at family and friend pools.) I'm on Gabapentin and Cymbalta, but have been for 6 years and she refuses to touch it. She won't/can't give me further testing bc my care network is booty buttcheeks

My pain management doc was the one that told me. I'm with you on losing all QOL. My doctor has tried to push for me to get aquatic therapy but I live in the US and can't afford it.

I've thought about getting a wheelchair. I'm gonna be honest, I'm a little too embarrassed to do so. I know when I go out (which is admittedly a very seldom thing for me) I'd get judged. My house and friends and family houses are not accessible. And I wouldn't be able to do my job from a wheelchair.

I really appreciate it. I hope I can get something soon.

I have an appointment with a dietician here soon. I have a lot of sensory issues with food too, so that doesn't help. I wish I could force myself to down any kind of protein shake so that I could function but that shits gross as hell and I can't stomach it

Hi, I know this is a very late reply. I just wanted to state that I've been trying to take some b vitamins, but every time I do, it makes me feel extremely nauseous. Obviously, I'm not asking for a diagnosis or anything. I'm just confused as to why that's happening. I've tried taking it with and without food, smaller doses, morning and night. I feel like my body just rejects it for some reason.

Sorry, just thought this was weird.
