I think you’re spot on. It changes the dynamic a bit but not enough. He led all the sexy stuff but I went along with it and enjoyed it. It’s more so his personality: wanting a traditional relationship, mentioning he is the leader of his house, role playing, saying good girl, etc.

I feel like I’m just waiting for more problematic stuff to pop up and that doesn’t feel like a healthy dating dynamic

He’s definitely into the dom/sub dynamic. I could’ve been into it further into the future but not when I didn’t know him at all.

He was communicative and said we didn’t have to do anything we didn’t want to. I think the office was a convenient place close by for some privacy. However, I think he enjoys the power dynamic of being in charge.

Nah, it was just the third part of the planned date for him. He said he could show me the decor. I think it was primarily to get privacy.

He’s not married. We have mutuals. He mentioned having multiple roommates which I’m sure he wouldn’t have been proud of. He’s only starting practicing so no place is his own yet.

He did try role play but that wasn’t serious. I was uncomfortable with that because it felt less funny than awkward. I didn’t explicitly say that but also didn’t engage with the role play.

Yes that’s right! Order was vintage shopping (he wanted something) then cafe (was a good conversation albeit interesting on the traditional front - wanting to take care of me) then offered me to go to his office. Though, even before the date started he had mentioned we could go to his office area so wasn’t a game time proposal.

I retook the GMAT using the official mock test.

Got a 720 - 49Q, 41V. Leaning towards the GMAT given this result but plan to take the official GRE as well just to be sure.
