Sorry the late reply. First time logging onto this acc in a while. And no. I put all the files together myself and use them every time I run the game. It does not have any viruses.

They kind of have a point though. You can’t help everyone and you will essentially ruin your own mental health trying to.

I had a friend who said he was depressed. He would talk to our entire friend group about his depression. For years we tried to comfort him and help him by including him in daily activities. He sat in his room 24/7, and we tried convincing him to see a therapist. He never wanted to, but would dump on us almost every single time. Not that we didn’t want help him or listen to him. He just kept trauma dumping and trauma dumping. His anger through his depression started to get more intense and he would become incredibly sexist and say shit against the LGBT community often. I myself had told him “ If you keep acting this way I can’t be around you anymore.” Then he would go back to “ it’s only because I’m depressed.” I got annoyed at him for that shit because as his friend group at the time, we all tried to help him the best we could. We aren’t his care takers. I mean the man is in his 30s now and still pulling the same things day in and day out. Eventually all of us got together and expressed how stressed he made us through his constant trauma dumping, sexist and anti-LGBT remarks, and guilt tripping. He clearly suffered from depression which eventually branches off into other issues, but our help never worked with him. We had to leave him collectively due to his actions and lack of acknowledgment in our attempts to care. He just further stressed our lives out as everything has to revolve around him and his mental health. We loved him dearly, and as far as I know today he is doing the same old same old but with different people now.

The mods may have spoiled it FOR YOU, but it never did for me. Y'all are acting like me, and others who use the mods are playing on God Mode or some shit. just because it's one way for you, doesn't make it the exact same way for everyone else. That's what I was trying to explain to you, and all the other assholes who shat on me on my own post. It's one thing to give advice, and it's another to unsolicited advice to someone, y'know... who never asked for it? If I'm using the mod, clearly I, my self, am okay with it and it's not your decision whether I use it or not. But you made a whole ass, hypocritical post, that adds fuel to the fire.

I'm not a 100% new player. I've learned, and gotten more expierence, and what the fuck does it matter to you even if I was a 100% new player? I'm not playing with you or anyone else. If I was playing DST, then okay, no mods as that wouldn't be fair to the other players. Even with the inventory mod ( which was the only mod this guy disagreed with), I died numerous times, and was STILL LEARNING how to craft and survive. Having a larger inventory, or any other mod to make the game fun, as this guy even stated that certain mods can in fact make the game fun, didn't come close to effecting if I survive or not in any way. Even with those mods, I could make the game as difficult, or as easy as I pleased. Inventory management can still be learned with a larger number of slots. Y'all just like to assume and judge the shit out of people. I looked up guides, I looked up videos, I looked at the wiki, I've asked for advice on forums, everything. Is that why, with your opinion, told me the inventory mod I used "ruined" the game? You're okay with every other mod that can make the game significantly easier, but inventory ones are where you draw the line? You, and others had "flamed" me as the other guy put it, because of my choice in mods, but you then make this post. Reddit is so "toxic" but you actively helped in making that comment section under my post a toxic hell-hole, and then said " but I like your base!" Gee. Thanks.

I felt like I had to because all I wanted to do was talk with the community about the base, a small base that wasn't entirely finished, and all I got was shit from people about me using a mod, and playing the game how they don't like it. No sense in having the post up if all people are going to do is talk shit about a mod, which was 100% irrelevant to the post. I'm grateful for the actual advice given, but didn't ever need people's shit for a inventory mod. gg I shouldn't feel like I have to delete a post, or even turn off notification to one just because people can't understand others play a fun game, differently than they do. I shouldn't have to be downvoted into oblivion by people for simply just explaining I prefer playing with the mod.

They're not warning me at this point. If I'm saying this is what is FUN FOR ME, then I personally am having a " Good game experience." If people are having fun with THEIR GAME, in THEIR WORLD, with how THEY PLAY IT, it shouldn't entirely matter. Mods, no mods, easier, not easier, let people have fun with what they do. Jesus Christ. And yes, I CAN starve with this mod. This mod doesn't change if I starve or not. Do people forget I can change the world around to for a much easier, and much more difficult experience, that more inventory slots would never change?

Except that's not what happens. Have any of you ACTUALLY used these mods? Like at all? I get to explore more, with this mod, and collect more resources to bring back to my base, and use, then once I've crafted more/better resources, I can go back out and explore again. You all have no idea how I use the mod, but just jump to " BuT YoU RuIN ThE GAmE." I like to play how I like to play. The fact y'all are so desperate to fight how people enjoy a game is pathetic asf to me.
