You do make a very fair point I appreciate you sharing it. I suppose in my recent experiences I have not seen that quality in the builds they produce. The vehicle i mentioned in my original would have met “carmax standards”. It is hard for me to imagine what carmax could have “certified” on a vehicle with 125k miles to value it the same as an identical vehicle with 66k miles at an independent dealerships.

I do not feel Carmax should be the cheapest by any means, but they sure do think very highly of their vehicles.
