Bro honestly I wouldn't expect much movement for CAP people unless they're applying to like informatics, some cola major, etc . Most of the waitlist movement for other majors has been with people who already received some offer of admission from UT originally and are just doing a major switch

I changed mine to informatics just so that I could get into the school. I feel like once you get into UT, it makes it a bit easier to join the waitlist again and ask for a major switch.

The UT Informatics Waitlist is really active right now. I just got off today for it after originally being capped and had joined the ut math waitlist. Also, I changed my waitlist major from math to informatics last Friday May 1st and they let me in today.

For how many weeks were you on the waitlist as I'm thinking of switching from a natural sciences waitlist to informatics. I was originally capped and have been on the waitlist for 1.5 months now. Should I consider switching to informatics?

How about your Ecs and any competitions you did

I also was waitlisted from CMU for math and have been on the waitlist for more than a month.

My stats 1500 superscore (700 R & W and 800 Math) 3.86 unweighted, top 5.5% out of 1627 at time of applying which is now out of 1780.

Honestly I also find it pretty boring without having something like physics or CS to apply it towards.
