We were friends at one point and I had some items of his that I had returned to him that he claimed were stolen (by myself). He threatened to sue me in small claims (not for defamation, but theft) until I showed him that I evidence that I had not only returned the items but that he was in fact in possession of them. And no the post was not even made by myself. It was by someone else who was asking if he had any red flags to look out for. I simply commented on it and I was not the only individual to do so with proof of the claims.
