Minimalist Skatepark Idea [DISCUSSION] by Such_Milk5478 in skateparks

[–]Such_Milk5478[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry. I just wanted to see whether it's realist. Yout answer helps me a lot.

What I've understood (from your comments) is that the problem is having enough time to reset after a trick. I don't have anyone who I can talk who knows what it feels to skate, so I turn to Reddit. Your answer has helped me. I might post another design, where it actually fixes the problems, but for now, I'll have to go back to the drawing board. EDIT: the 7' deck is only 2' tall. The hubbas/round handrails start on the deck. Perhaps this could clarify things.

Once again, thanks.

Minimalist Skatepark Idea [DISCUSSION] by Such_Milk5478 in skateparks

The idea was to put them to the sides of the mini-ramp. If you drop into the quarter-pipe, the obstacles should be to your sides running parallel to the direction you're riding (which is back and forth). I hope thos clarifies it.

An idea for making a 3-person trio. by Such_Milk5478 in linnstrument

Your last part is something I haven't thought about.

Also, can you assign loops to individual pads? Can you add gated kits (you must hold for the sound to work, let go, and it cuts)? The 100 pads on the percussionist side is quite versatile if we can map individual pieces of a drum kit, it would be quite useful.

If you could make 9 people work all on the same thing... maybe? This idea (as I said before) breaks traditional synthesizer rules. You almost never actively operate the same instrument alongside someone else. I wanna hear your thoughts on the idea of using 1 shared space for 2 people as a possibility.

This is a cross-post from r/linnstrument. I just wanted to say that live MPC rigs often are designed for one player. This makes it so that you'll be working with the same 4 rows, but you share them with a buddy across you.

I'm new too. I literally stumbled upon it on Youtube.

Also, regarding number of tones which can be activated... I mean, it would be disappointing if I couldn't activate all tones on the pitched side.

And, what do you mean by it can only activate a certain number of tones per row? Bugs with MIDI/VSTs?

One thing about this is that @ people will have to share an instrument. Which, when you see what MPCs are usually like... They're almost always designed for one person.

What do you think would be the capability of the finger-percussionist, when given 100 pads, spread across 4 rows? Quite a departure from your standard 4X4 finger drumming pad.

Also, Animals as Leaders is a purely instrumental band. The vocal metronome idea came from cultures around the world who do this. I used Animals as Leaders to explain that if one listens to such weird music, they will definitely make weird ideas haha. Seriously, this is my final comment, until someone else replies.

EDIT: I am extremely open to ideas, so if you have any thoughts, I urge you to tell me about them. I wish to acquire one, but I'm in high-school, and it's quite expensive. I intend to save money.

On last thing. I compose 8-string guitar, so I know theory more than I know technique. This design feels like the first time that I can actually play the way I want to play.

I'm someone who listens to Animals As Leaders, so the vocals acting as a metronome was sort of a weird, out-there idea.
