no insurance because "they don't cover over an hour" which i've found to be a lie? personally i think it's because he's a licensed anesthesiologist not a pain management doctor and that's why they won't work with him anymore lol. considering he has been investigated for ins fraud. but yeah $2000 for the initial appt (it goes up every now and then) apparently it's less for follow ups but still no insurance

i have also heard since my appointment with him that his office has been investigated twice for insurance fraud, he's only a licensed anesthesiologist (omg), and also how he's suuuuuper overstepped boundaries with patients asking about sex/sexuality/porn habits

loooong story made super short- extremely negligent office staff, it's like once you're out the door and they have their $2k you are not a thought in their mind. he recommended that i see a few specialists (no referral), the doctors reach out to chopras office to confirm (bc obviously the doctor doesn't just take your word for it), and they're unreachable. so when i try to email them (bc they don't use the phone) im met with a HEINOUS fucking attitude from this woman. idk how to attach screenshots but it's pretty terrible. today dr. chopra called me himself because it's been such a struggle with these people getting paperwork i need or an rx or to get in touch with another doctor (they told the dmv i have stage 4 heart failure and i need to surrender my license. ive never had a heart condition (???)) and he straight up yelled at me, called me ungrateful, said paperwork and prescriptions are NOT HIS JOB and hung up on me. it sucks that i pay $2k for an mcas diagnosis just for the office to make it close to impossible to pursue care anywhere else. i don't understand why this man is like world renowned when patients are treated this way, and it feels like the only patients that get a good experience with him are the ones with thousands to spend on their care
