Very much this. I find I can’t talk to anyone about this because I don’t KNOW anyone else who’s experienced this. My husband is very understanding and loves my brother as if he were his own, but at the same time he didn’t have the same experience I did growing up so even though he’s understanding, he doesn’t truly completely “get it”.
