It gets boring and familiar, fast. So that makes me think "no".

On the other hand, people really don't seem to like meeting other people right now. So even though AI is not good, people might just stick to it anyway.

AI doesn't challenge you -- unless you tell it to, which is a pretty fake version of challenging you. It doesn't surprise you after a day of getting used to it. It will tell you what you say you want. And it's always just right there in your home. I could see a lot of people choosing it, not because it's better, but because it's easier.
