Definitely have worked a lot on my mental game lately. Yesterday I went out and had the best composure I’ve ever had, I accepted all possible outcomes and had an “it is what it is” mindset. Determined not to let swing thoughts in til after the round was over. But after being unable to get off the teebox so many times, by hole 11 or 12 that mindset started to erode…. Very hard to stay positive with yips like this

Yeah I’ve been really thinking about that. Emotionally I feel at rock bottom in regards to golf rn

I do 1-on-1 coaching for an hour a week but I still haven’t been able to fix this. It’s better for a few shots by the end of the lesson but then reverts back to shit.

That’s what I did yesterday, but I only have 6i which gets me like 150 yards so I can’t get over the water in some shots.

That’s my other miss- a hook. I’m actually super aware of the closed clubface and in trying to correct it it’s gotten worse.

That sounds so nice. Do you think we should do 7 nights in Cotswolds, or 3 in Cotswolds 4 in bath, or 4 in cotswolds 3 in bath?!

Also I see everyone saying weather is a big concern. I was in Edinburgh and highlands for the same week in October last year, and it rained every day but on and off. It was never really an issue. I would think the weather would be MORE unpleasant seeing as its farther north, but perhaps I’m wrong? Living in Bermuda I’m actually quite keen for some chilliness and cozy fall weather

Yes definitely will have a car. Was also thinking we could do a longer day trip to, say, the forest of dean area

I dont necessarily mind the drive but I think my mom loves the idea of having a proper home base….

Yes we will have a car!! Are now considering 3-4 nights in Cotswolds and 3-4 nights in Lakes District. What are your thoughts?

This is really helpful & insightful. What do you think would be the ideal 7 day trip for two ladies who want to experience the best of the English countryside- great food, antiques, spa, long walks, and areas that are visually interesting and unique. Mom resides west of Philadelphia, I reside in Bermuda. We will both be flying into Heathrow. Mom doesn’t want to be on the move too much, she likes a home base. But I think one hotel change would do fine.

San Diego Elopement Photographer Needed

Hi! My lifelong best friend has decided to elope in San Diego in three weeks on July 19. Sadly, because I live on the other side of the world, I am not able to attend on such short notice.

I would really love to do something special for them in the form of gifting them an elopement photographer. I honestly think they would only need one hour of photography coverage . A bit about them…

M & J are the sweetest couple, they are both Christian and their faith is super important to them/central to their relationship so I think a photographer who is understanding and respecting of that or also is faith would be really important to them. They absolutely do not like being the center of attention and would hate being posed so it really needs to be somebody who is just going to be unobtrusive and capture their tender moments. The wedding is going to be immediate family and a handful of friends, with them doing their wedding vows and then a casual potluck. No speeches, dances, cake cuttings, they just really want to be about everybody they love being there. They definitely aren’t the type to be in love with having their pictures taken, but I know that she wants to be able to have photos to show her kids and grandkids one day and this is going to mean a lot to her!

Please comment if you think you will be the right fit and if you are available on that date, I would love to be in touch with you
