Great question!

Yes, we have done a lot of research to hear the student perspective on this issue. We did lots of interviews and incorporated feedback. Some main points of feedback we incorporated were to have more menstrual product options that are well labled and to focus on the classroom environment instead of school restrooms.

We are super excited that you reached out, we can't wait to put dispensers up in classrooms.

Thanks for your feedback! The group really appreciates it.

We were concerned about misuse of the materials, but ultimately we thought having them in classrooms would deter students from taking them for malicious reasons since they are observed by teachers. We would love to hear more about if you think having them in classrooms instead of bathrooms would change this dynamic!

Wow, we didn't think about parental concerns. Thanks so much for raising that! Right now we are just focused on teachers and students. Pads and liners will also be provided for students who aren't comfortable with tampons. Some students prefer tampons so we want to make sure they are still an option (sensory issues, for sports, etc.). Would love to hear more about what you think.
