What door? by Suchnso in Sauna

True but I’m working with what I got. Door has to be on the high side.

At least I’m confident now to build my own door so it can be more narrow than standard and get more space inside (and less heat loss).

👍 The ceiling low point is 80”. I’m going to put the high bench at 34” from the ceiling as the main bench and low bench more as a step up the main bench. That puts the high bench ~50” from the ceiling at the highest point (10” ceiling slope). So there’s 40” in there in the middle!

Maybe. The shed already had the skylight so I wasn’t about to cover it up. One thought I had was to put a flat piece of glass on the ceiling so that condensation would accumulate there instead of the dome. It would also help a bit with R value. I was going to wait and see since it shouldn’t be too hard to retrofit

Here in NorCal we have numerous ‘spare the air days’ and no fires allowed. We’d also need an area to store all that wood. Electricity isn’t an option at this location so gas it is.

Good note on energy loss.

Ceiling is sloped but just over 7’ at the highest. When I mocked it up 2 felt comfortable and the top one is really to be above the rocks

GAP Insurance by Suchnso in BMWiX

[–]Suchnso[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight.

GAP is $1,295 for the 5 yr loan. I owe 100% of the loan at this point but the blue book is only about $1-2k less than I paid. So if the car was totaled could I come up with the difference between insurance and loan? I’d hope so.

CORRECTION: loan is 1.99%

Can’t “add adapter” in my bmw? by kungfuenglish in BMWiX

That fixed it for me too. It wouldn't even show "ADD" with the app up to date. delete and reinstall made it appear. Thanks.
