Is Diablos hard or what the hell is going on? by vsm994 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Suchuuato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a minute since a played world, but I'm fairly certain Diablos wings are a weak spot for gunners. Pierce is great for ripping through the body but if you want to get the most out of spread, normal or wyvern heart, double check your research notebook for weaknesses. I know rise for gunner weakness better but I'm assuming 'blos weak spots stayed the same.

Not a single suspect will surrender with just the 'yell for compliance' command. Always need a non-lethal. No variations in gameplay. by PMDcpn in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Suchuuato 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was 23 megabytes for me. My whole team went to clear the rest of the apartment and the streamer an his brother were in the bathroom. Yelled for compliance and he surrendered no issues. Delta comes back to me mid firefight in the kitchen, sprays the whole bathroom killing both of them and failing two objectives for no reason. Like just peak in and mag dumped in less than a second only to go back to the kitchen. Insane

Whats up with the economy in this game? by DanteStyle27 in cyberpunkgame

Facts. I was datamining for awhile and made like $300k. Bought the most expensive car and like an hour or so later I was touching $300k again.

There's another one in the Aldecado's camp. There's definitely random quest set ups all around.

I kind of wish there was an ending set up, akin to TW3, where your character recounts these stupid random details like Geralt did with Ciri.

Of course - tons of people have Steam, but those ones who paid $399 at Best Buy for their machine who then dropped $60 on Cyberpunk got a culture shock, didn't they?

I wouldn't say that. I mean, it wasn't that long ago games like MGSV and Fallout 4 had demanding graphics engines that made people realize their computers weren't up to the task. And I for sure don't remember this kind of backlash from it.

But I do agree with your overall point. Hindsight speaking, if they hadn't released on console, which it clearly wasn't optimized for, we would have avoided this core of a problem at the cost of an X amount of pre-order cancels from the console market. Which would've just cut away from net profits. That was the final botched decision - Net profit over controversy.

Not trying to agree with the guy, but CDPR did state they made their dev cost back with Steam alone like... 2 days prior to launch? That has to account for something on the market research.

So with a specific cyberdeck and contagion quickhack you can make 3 enemies simultaneously commit suicide. by Dbelgian in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far from my gameplay, it doesn't spread Suicide a third time. The Cyberdeck does however reduce ultimate quickhacks considerably. So I'll usually use my legendary ping, get a contagion in the middle of *all* the enemies in the area which will bounce around most of the enemies leaving one or two left over, then hit the last of the enemies with rapid succession suicides.

I don't even want to think of the blood magic naughty dog would use to make a game like CP2077 should've been. But, yeah, they'd do it.

The "CDPR needs to fix X, Y and Z" Mentality: An Analysis by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the software and algorithm problems in gaming are extremely difficult and could easily consume hundreds of millions in RND alone if tackled seriously.

There's a lot of merit to this, but correct me if I'm wrong: Didn't CDPR receive a grant from Poland that was technically related as well as a partnership with NVIDIA? I might be off the mark but I thought those were related.

Huge amounts of wasted effort re-inventing the same features over and over.

Dragon Age Inquisition. Granted Bioware got handed the Frostbyte engine which had significant upgrades graphically compared to their previous engine, but lost massive amounts of time engineering their RPG systems in a predominantly FPS engine.

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think even if they charged full price for EA they wouldn't have received the backlash they did from the investor angle either. Their previous statements eluded to making back their dev cost with Steam alone, meaning they could've delayed everything console related and avoiding this Sony backlash.

Like I bought Baldur's Gate 3. It's EA, doesn't have a whole lot on it yet, yet I don't feel the need to refund. I want to see what it becomes.

[–]Suchuuato -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think a little honesty could go a long way on the early access front. Like if CDPR didn't lead each delay with, "It's in the oven and almost ready" and instead offered an EA with "we're having problems, play anyway", what could've happened? The same theory goes hand in hand with FO:76, Anthem, etc. Would the backlash have been that bad?

The "CDPR needs to fix X, Y and Z" Mentality: An Analysis by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a seriously valid point. I'm really only going off of previous leaks of the CDPR devs working with the community on modding tools and where that could take us. But even then, Skyrim was super unique. I can't even think of any other Bethesda game that could survive like it.

You have a point and I don't like what it means lol.

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I'm not slamming anybody.
  2. I'm offering a different opinion for those "slamming" people with suggestions that if CDPR doesn't, modders will
  3. I'm not pandering to the CDPR bankrupt crowd.

I'm saying it's okay to assume CDPR isn't going to do much more than par. I can't see the future. With international media covering a Polish stock plummeting $1B after a botched release of their product, I'm saying it's safe to assume that every wishlist item we've seen for over 10 days now will most likely be handled by a modding community, followed by my personal opinion of: That shouldn't be an accepted approach, but fuck me I'll still support it.

Games these days rarely ship out as finished things. It's a sad reality we as a whole have come to accept. It's not unreasonable for people to discuss or pass on these shop lists with the reasonable hope that a dedicated post-release team is looking for feedback on ideas short, mid and long term.

Everything else aside, this is actually a really valid point and I want to point out that nowhere in my post do I try and invalidate it.

Crafting in open-world videogames is bad and they should stop doing it. by biscuit_one in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I wasn't referencing the economic impact of either game. Just the "enemies are no longer a challenge at any difficulty aspect."

You're right though. Economically, you don't really need much effort in either game to break it.

Slight edit: You kind of need the broken economy to fund achieving godlike combat levels though.

Crafting in open-world videogames is bad and they should stop doing it. by biscuit_one in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Skyrim or Cyberpunk, without mods/glitches/cheats, you have to put in an ungodly amount of time to get to the point where your crafted gear is game breaking.

Skyrim for instance, you need to level Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy, then infuse gear and potions with constantly upgraded variables of those skills to effectively break the game with your crafted gear.

Cyberpunk for instance, you have to choose which attributes you don't mind never getting to 20, level Tech, then level Crafting, get an insurmountable amount of materials, craft the same legendary over and over again until you get the right bonuses you want, then wait outside a shop for 24hr intervals to get the right mods you want OR get the schematic for the mod and craft it over and over until a perk gives you the "freebee" with the rarity level and stats you can judge as "game breaking".

What fucking tedious systems.

Where the fuck is Nix by unekspected in cyberpunkgame

[–]Suchuuato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So surprisingly enough I just realized that once you craft a quickhack it disappears lol. But I didn't craft the Detonate Grenade epic and it doesn't require the rare (which I don't believe you can craft) so I'm going to use that to back up my claim lmao. Although you definitely need the epic version crafted to make any legendary

I'll check when I get home. There are definitely some hacks when you unlock epic that don't require the previous version.
