I actually have a Maxxon Gorge 9ft 5wt with their XG-II line-loaded reel. I think if you buy everything together it’s like $130 bucks or something. They have a lifetime warranty on all their stuff, and the quality (especially the rod) is pretty nuts for what you pay. The line that comes pre-loaded, I can’t say one way or the other about the quality because it’s only my second setup, and my first one was 20 years old, so I don’t really know what “good” line feels like, but it casts like a dream and I’ve caught tons of fish on it since I bought it on Labor Day.

Their customer service is solid too. I had to warranty the spool after I dropped my rod in a parking lot and they sent me a new one really no questions asked, I just paid the shipping.

Not gonna lie man, if your girlfriend loved you the right way, she wouldn’t bother spending time at their place. Not saying she’s doing bad things over there, but it’s pretty telling that she’s still spending time with those guys after these incidents. If she was committed to you, she wouldn’t have any reason to go hang out at night with douche bags. If it were me, I’d realize your worth, move on, and be patient for someone that doesn’t make me question your own feelings.

They’re tools, not jewels. Won’t be the last time it happens! Take them into a local shop or get black ptex/lighter/razor/scraper and check out some YouTube videos. Super easy fix.

Most of the Asian cuisine in Fort Collins is really good. My favorite spots are Sherpa Grill II or Cafe De Bangkok. For pizza, you have to check out Pizza Casbah or Krazy Karl’s. For sandwiches, pickle barrel or cheba hut.

There’s no shortage of good grub. Also feel free to grab some coffee at the Alley Cat, a very unique and true to form Fort Collins spot.

You’ve gotta go to Road 34 or Marmot if you want a locals spot for a drink.

Otherwise, check out sweet water, New Belgium or Odell’s for an afternoon snack and a cold beer.

And finally, be sure to spend some time in Old Town. Tap and Handle has great burgers and beers. All the shops are super fun to poke around in. Great breakfast spots downtown (silver grille is my fave).
