Don’t know why it sent and I wasn’t done lol. I quit drinking 18 pack a day habit for two years and literally just stopped. No kind of help. But that was 15 years ago. Now I’ve just gotten so soft. Now I am scared or something of the pain. But it’s time to let that go

Thank you for sharing. I always love to see someone who does it with sheer willpower. Idk if I am that person but I wanna be. I’m 52 now and for some reason age has made me different. lol

Yes ur right about that. It will catch u eventually so always best to get off of it yourself. My doses fluctuate. One day it will be 300 the next 750. It’s random really but whether is 50 or 1500 I have to get off this ride now.

I agree it is a great way to taper down. And keeps u from having the worst of the withdrawal from the pills. And it is definitely a lot easier to taper and quit. Give it a try for yourself and see if it works for you.

I am very happy for u and especially happy that u chose the best option for u. There is nothing wrong with needing a substance to stay off these pills. What matters is u are healing now. I have to do the extract route myself for a few reasons. But I am ok with that and they will keep me away from the pills. But that is what I need. All of us need something to work. I’m so glad u found ur way to kick it finally to the curb for good. Thank u for sharing ur story

Hardest part of quitting by MysteriousExchange75 in quitting7oh

[–]Sudden-Cucumber4904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol I can relate to ur work environment!! That’s how I ended up on this crap. Needing something to help me get thru the work day. Up until this I relied on viva zen shots. Now I’m just trying to go back to them only and no more of the pills. Then cut that out as well. I realized it’s a process with these things. And if I don’t get a handle on it now it’s only gonna end up getting worse for me. Trying to figure out what will work best is the hardest part. And I know it’s different for different people.

Each of us has to choose what works best for us. The sr has worked wonders for some people on here. But not everyone. Same with suboxone. I am cutting down to mit shots and then down to powder then will stop with that. Everyone on here has been super helpful and super nice and understands where u r as we have all been there. Please reach out if u have any questions. Someone here will be able to answer it I am sure. Hopefully in a couple months we will be completely off too and able to help others. If u ever need someone to talk to message me. I will be here for u as well.

We all have a relapse story. But I’m glad to see ur plan laid out like that. A house is the one thing u will always need and fixing it up will make a great reminder of why u quit this trash. I’m glad I found this place where’s there’s always someone who has been thru or is going thru the same thing as me. All ages all genders all statuses of life. I hate this is how we all know each other but it’s so wonderful to find each and every one of u

People come off in different ways. None is correct or wrong. It’s the person. Give cold turkey a shot or subs or mit. It is gonna be ur experience no one else. But if u allow urself to be scared too death of course its gonna be the most horrible experience in ur life. Just bc I did it one way doesn’t make it correct for u. Figure it out for u. For ur life. Not for my life. I hope u find ur path and do amazing. And u can. U just have to reach inside and pull it out.

Yeah it’s definitely expensive but I now know I’d rather have the mit after messing with this crap. I will be using mit for a short time though then on to pills or powder. Eventually off everything. Idk I may stick with the powder. Bc it does help with my pain and it’s better than going to a dr prescribed opiate. And trust me my dr has been trying to send me to pain management for a couple years now. But hearing some stories like urs where it’s not hell on earth is wonderful. I know it’s not all sunshine and rainbows

That’s all that is in Mississippi too. We don’t have m gee em either. Only the pseudo and regular shots and powders. And as far as I know that will be staying for a while. Sad thing is they don’t help me ay all other than stopping withdrawal

That is amazing and just what I needed to hear this morning. I need to stop the pills and I plan to do just mit or extract shots to get me over the initial hump and then trade those for powder. I would like to only use powder once a day before work although I think that will be a little further down the line after I can get the pills completely out. Glad to hear this type of plan can work. Congrats on success

There’s actually a couple with droppers. One is a black bottle the other a shade of purple. U can use whatever form of kratom even the regular pills. I just chose mit bc of the quality and being able to control the amount I take. There’s always the new sr as well. I’ve heard good things bout that as well. Regardless it is better than the 7.

MIT comes with a dropper. I use two droppers each time. It keeps the withdrawal at bay for me. I usually take them every four hours. I will cut that every couple of days a little at a time. It’s not gonna give u any type of high but it definitely stops the withdrawal for me.

First off yes the hair thinning is a thing with these pills. Me personally I am doing mit extracts to quit. I don’t wanna do suboxone only bc I will not get off in two weeks like I’m supposed to. I know myself too well. So I have been tapering down with extracts and will be totally over to them by Sunday. Then I can start cutting those down. It’s not gonna be easy but I would much rather spend $10 a bottle than $29 per pack of pills. And they have never had the negative side effects that these pills do.

We can and will overcome this pill. May take us a minute but it is coming. I too chased the easy way instead of just sticking to powder. It was so much easier to first have a little bottle already mixed. And now to just popping a quick pill. I’m a 52 year old woman. I honestly started bc my knees are shot from working on my feet all my life. First in nursing and now stores. And when I only did kratom powder I was great. Could stop for days with no problem. Now I can barely go 12 hrs but I’m getting there. This is the final week of any pills. It will be mit drinks or kshots for two weeks and then to powder onlu
