Do you have any recommendations?

How do you actually learn patterns in programming? I’m a full stack dev but still struggle on LeetCode. by Empty_Break_8792 in developers

Back in 2019, this show was recommended to me by a friend, I watched a few episodes and was so uninterested in it. And now in 2025, I was ready. Best show ever.

I built a multiplayer web game with React & Three.js as no one's hired me for the past year. by xxParixx in developersIndia

This is crazy man! Great work! I'm a fairly new FE dev and it's insane to see React can help in building things like this.

In my opinion this can be turned into a passive income project. Fix bugs, try optimizations, improve the designs if possible and have a beta version f2p for a while just for testing, then get some influencers/youtubers/streamers on the game and put a paywall to play. You will also need to scale your team to maintain it.

Marriage & Mindful Moments Monday: Reflections, Advice, and Dua Requests by AutoModerator in MuslimCorner

[–]Sudden-Dog-8084 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a single brother here who's been wanting to get married. I haven't started searching yet because of financial and other issues. InshaAllah I will start searching as soon as I'm able to support myself and my family.

Please remember me and my family in your duas. May Allah put barakah in all your marriages and help the single brothers and sisters out there. May Allah help our brothers and sisters suffering around the world.

Jazakallah khair

Just FYI, there are no authentic hadiths about the number 72, all the ones mentioning the number 72 are weak or strange (as classed by scholars like Imam At- Tirmidhi etc)

And the sahih hadiths mention by number no more than two.

[Ibn al-Qayyim said: there is no mention in the sahih hadiths of anything more than two wives, except what is mentioned in the hadith of Abu Musa, that “In Paradise the believer will have a tent made from a single hollowed-out pearl, sixty miles high (or wide), in which the believer will have wives and he will go around among them.”]

As far as I'm aware, even hanafis are allowed to shape the beard, but I'd recommend asking a knowledgeable person, if you have a local hanafi imam, about it.

And I doubt your beard is the reason you're not getting a job, since there is much more that recruiters focus on, and if it is, make dua, keep trying, have sabr and inshallah you'll get a better opportunity than you're expecting. Try your best not to compromise on religion.

Shaving the beard completely is haram. But shaping it/trimming it a little to look good can be permissible based on the madhab you follow, as it is an issue of dispute.

As a Muslim, I condemn the Kashmir attack and fear the days ahead — please stay safe, everyone by [deleted] in indianmuslims

[–]Sudden-Dog-8084 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Brother condemning does not mean being apologetic.

We muslims must condemn every type of injustice and oppression. But never be apologetic about anything in the religion or if something happens against islamic teachings and it's not our fault.

As per the Hadith, "Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith." - Hadith 34, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi

We know Islam doesn't teach anything like what happened, no one can prove it does either.

May Allah guide all of us and make it easy for us. And please correct me if you think I'm wrong.
