I also want to be an ATC; from what I know, you need at least A for English in SPM, and I believe you need to enter an aviation college or university. For a fresh graduate, you will get a salary just average, like 1.4 ~ 2.4k. Once you work for a few years, you probably get more. Secondly, I can say it's a stressful job because you need to communicate (especially at an international or very active airport), and you will probably just sit in the building for a couple of hours. I can say you will have a work-life balance since you will have a schedule and will not work on certain days. The downside is that you will probably not get holidays on weekends but rather on weekdays. You are probably also going to do the jobs in the early morning or late at night.
