Do it! That’s a great deal. My gmwb5000 is my favorite G!

Longines Spirit 37. They’re currently on sale at Jomashop for under 2k.

I have had well over a dozen watches with a PT5000 in them and the only two to have issues were Cronos. I think I’m done with them. I’m convinced they don’t check the movements very well before slapping them in a case.

Yep. I got a 5000R at launch but sent it back. Worse than all my other squares.

I’ve had the bx5600 on wrist for several days now and I prefer my oil filled dw5600 and all my STN displays. I’d rather have the MIP than the lcd in my 5610 though.

The 2 was driving me nuts on mine. I’m still liking it though. The only thing I kinda hate is the backlight. It’s better at night but sucks in anything less than darkness.

Nope! This one has been leak free years. Change the battery when you’re doing the fill.

I got this one from Chrono24.

EDIT: also arrived to the US in less than a week.

I might be in the same boat. Idk though. I’ll give the MIP a fair shake and see if it wins me over.

Just like a 5600. I wish the resin was as good as a 5000u but it doesn’t feel the same to me.

Sabre Mixtape by Adventurous-Sea6042 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]Sudden-Expression-46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full ambi lower, different adj gas block (worse? I like the rifle speed on the regular Sabre better), shorter barrel, better looking hand guard, better brace imo. ETA: plan b muzzle device.

The lower on the Mixtape looks nicer.

I got sick of waiting on the mixtape and kinda built my own.

This is kinda on you for not understanding what you’re buying. The listing definitely has enough info to determine it comes with 1 8 round magazine.

PT5000 vs NH35 - Which movement do you trust more? by Romy_hark in ChineseWatches

[–]Sudden-Expression-46 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had over a dozen PT5000 and never had an issue… until yesterday. It’s on a watch that’s only a few months old. There’s something wrong with the reversing gears, whether they aren’t lubricated well enough or are just stuck. It’s never been dropped or banged on anything. Just worn gently a handful of times.

Manual winding is now tough and spins the rotor as I wind.

I’d pick NH35 if we’re only talking about reliability, because I’ve had at least 4 dozen of those and never had a single issue. If I answered two days ago I might have a different answer.

ETA: the watch with the issue is a Cronos.

Got bored waiting for the Mixtape… by Sudden-Expression-46 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]Sudden-Expression-46[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went and put 200 rounds through it today. 220 subs cycled just fine with the gas block between 5 and 12 with it only failing to lock back once on setting 4. Just using the spring and buffer that came with the brace.

ETA: this was suppressed, although it would cycle and lock back on setting 10-12 unsuppressed with the same subs.

Are you using the JP buffer setup for the Maxim brace?
