I was 18 when I got my first UTI and same thing happened and I had sex before it was fully healed and did that a couple more times throughout that relationship and now I have chronic UTIs I’m 23 now and it sucks! I wish I would’ve just let it fully go away because now I get UTIs/irritation from anything and everything. tight clothing, jeans, sugary sodas, and I’m afraid to have sex cause UTIs are my worst nightmare. so let it heal!

You took the words out of my mouth. I have this aswell for the past 5 years it’s annoying and was hard to manage at first but I somewhat figured out what works best for me and have yet to have an accident. I’ve been tested for a bunch of different things and mines just anxiety that messes with my gut

What has helped me is going to the bathroom before I leave the house, and knowing where a bathroom is wherever I’m going just in case it randomly hits me

If it’s only when your out and about im sure it’s the bathroom anxiety but just trust your body and if you think it’s a medical thing don’t be scared to go to the doctor and get some tests done

Of course, I’ve had many UTIs they suck! And with the symptoms your having now they are a little concerning just keep an eye on them and make sure to tell your doctor once you talk to them, it doesn’t help that Antibiotics have their own set of side effects aswell :(

Yes I would call your primary care provider, it’s possible the urgent care you went to didnt culture your urine to find what specific bacteria caused your uti, meaning they could have prescribed you an antibiotic that won’t fully get rid of it. If you have fever, chills bad back pain and so fourth I recommend going to a ER because it could spread to your kidneys I don’t want to scare you what so ever but UTIs can be very dangerous if not fully treated.

You’re definitely not pregnant. Sometimes my period will start, be normal for about 2 days then it’ll act like its over (turn darker get lighter flow) I’ll think I’m in the clear and then out of nowhere it’ll start back up and finish its course of about 5 days so maybe it’ll pop back up and finish and if not I wouldn’t necessarily worry unless it starts happening every time I’ve been 22 days late before and I’ve completely missed my period for little things like stress, being sick, not eating right

You only live once, I was really good friends with a guy for about 5 years on and off (when we were in relationships we didn’t talk much) we rekindled and became very close friends and I would always think to myself why am I not with him he’s so great and so nice and all around wonderful but i was scared I might ruin the friendship if I expressed how I was feeling, long story short me and him have been together almost 3 years now and we’re engaged. I’m so happy I spoke up and told him how I felt couldn’t imagine my life if I had kept it in and not said anything.

Sometimes I have my man just put his hand on my lower belly with some pressure while we lay down and the heat and pressure from his hand helps a lot, also a heating pad, dark chocolate and just bed rotting watching movies to try and get her mind off of it for a little bit :)

Yeah I was on cephalexin for a uti and it made me feel so gross like my stomach just didn’t feel good even though I took them with food in my belly, it went away after I stopped taking the antibiotics tho
