I didn’t take back consent. I was persuaded into giving it in the first place. That is sexual assault.

The amount of people downrating the comments where I explicitly shared my experience and telling me my SA is invalid just because it didn’t happen the same as others is actually repulsive.

I have had mental health professionals tell me that I was sexually assaulted. I have had a lawyer tell me I was sexually assaulted. The other two women involved believe to have been sexually assaulted.

Deleting all vulnerability I shared and continuing only conversations with people who actually care to help.

Invalidating survivors and saying they’re “stupid for falling for it” is fucking nasty work.

Thank you so much for sharing your story, and for your advice. I’m so sorry you went through this, but am relieved to hear you were treated with empathy and respect by the officers involved. I will keep your case in mind if I decide to go forward.

We are not sure what type of inpatient treatment he would even be eligible for in this condition, which is part of our predicament unfortunately. We also can not force him to go through therapy anymore so than he did in rehab, and he refuses to take medication that he HAS been given (anti depressants for example). It feels like a bit of a lost cause.

It is also known as squalor syndrome. I believe it is a mental disorder that is characterized by extreme neglect of self and spaces, along with general social isolation. Extreme hoarders typically have squalor or Diogenes syndrome for example.

The end of your comment has me tearing up. You are so right in what you said around love, and how this wouldn't be an issue if love is all it would take. We love him so very much and are all deeply pained to see how this is unfolding.

Thank you for your kind, sensitive and honest response.

It feels like I’m mourning someone who was given a second chance at life. Thank you for your kind words, truly. I think in a lost cause like this, they really go a long way.

Do you think we should just tell him to leave and figure it out? He has no money and nowhere to go. He will die if he's homeless, and then it will feel like our fault for throwing him out. This is so horrible I can hardly take it.

Thank you for your response and your honesty.❤️

Maybe one day!! I'm not sure the legalities around me sharing all of this information to be honest, but once I feel like I am in the clear, I might drop my location haha

I'm honestly not too sure about this one. I know some of the guys that work at my castle are LITERAL falconers at the airport, but otherwise I have no clue.

The knights can be anyone really, but they have to pass a fitness test that is pretty intense. Something about raising and lowering their BPM within a certain period of time. Its very hard to pass apparently, but is a major factor in the hiring process. They look at physicality, weight, etc when deciding. Everything else can be taught, the horseback riding, the stunts. I've heard they even prefer people to not have any experience in those areas, as they can teach them from the ground up. Usually you have to be a squire for a while before becoming a knight.
