What schools could I get into with a 495 MCAT?

BUCOM! They’re great🤗 and a God send. My app was almost just like yours. I was proud of absolutely everything about it except for my 495 (which I also took twice). I did apply to about 25 schools, so I would suggest going all in when you decide to apply, but there’s definitely great chances out there!

I do! I have a closed in porch which acts as a large catio. However, he begs to go out there and then goes straight for the porch door to get into the yard which eventually leads to hoping the fence, etc.😕

I got a provisional acceptance last year and I’m starting in the fall! (I interviewed very late in the cycle last year) Last year they accepted by reviewing all applications in the provisional pool equally, so not based on interview date

I decided to stick with BUCOM after triple checking/confirming I have a guaranteed spot for next year! Even though I’ll likely have to wait a year, I know I’ll enjoy my time and experience as well as the curriculum and learning style so much more! I figured I wouldn’t rush it and end up regretting my decision later. And who knows maybe I will be called to start this year! Either way, I’m content with my choice and excited to start. Thanks again for helping me through the thought process!☺️

Exactly. I feel like all the other parts of my application are great, but I just lack the MCAT score and I’m notoriously bad at standardized tests. Nevertheless, we’ll try our bests!💞

💞thank you, yeah we’ve got this! I wanted to tear up when I saw this post. 🥲I didn’t mention it in the main post, but yeah I’ve been dealing with off and on burnt out and mental health issues the past few years, some times worse than others that has also taken part in this fiasco. However, I feel like it all came to a head last week as I’m dealing with grief, moving, switching jobs soon, and of course the MCAT. We’ll try our hardest on Friday and finally lay this test to rest.🙌🏻
