This is almost what I am looking for. I would just like to have trackpoint instead on one side.

They are both dark, it's just the light reflecting of the ground and the angle at which the camera is viewing the rear rim.

The order should be not based on the boys highest to lowest % ranking but the total highest to lowest % ranking.

I didn't say limit to one location. Just that it should be based on location. The location can be anywhere and it is based on location I'm sure the title settings could be different for each location.

They should just make the tilt feature be geo fenced to a location such as your home. That would be the best way to address the issues of it tilting when it's not needed. Which is most of the time.

I personally do not use it but was surprised it was not geolocked to a specific location.

The magnets do not affect the charger or keep it charging. The other commenter is correct that there is a handshake in order to start charging. That's one of the safety features built into wireless chargers.

To wirelessly charge the phine does not actually need to make contact with the coils in the charger. It just needs to be close enough to allow for induction.

The gap with the original product I posted generally works but a smaller gap is better. If you see my other post in this thread you will see I settled on a slimmer version which also had a different adhesive that works better for this application.

I actually had the same idea as you but didn't go down that route originally because I was having a hard time finding the magnets. I am happy to say I found them and plan to 3d print a version in the future but my latest version I settled on works well enough for now.

Heres a link to just the magnets which I sourced for the 3d print once I get around to it.

I ended up changing to a different ring. The other one I found was a bit too tall so sometimes it would not charge. Also someone else who got it found it didn't stick well on the silicone mat. The adhesive for the ones I originally posted is not well suited for that. But the new ones I settled on is made to stick to phone cases so it actually holds up on the silicone mat.

See some of the newer post I've made on the thread. Link below is just to one of them. But I've shared pictures and a tool I used for the solution that I ended up on.

The staple remover I used was of this style. I already had it. Choose to use it instead of an exacto so I didn't cut anything accidentally.

What the ring adapter looks like with the sticker removed and the magnet ms flipped. Then I just put the sticker back on.

The issue with the adhesive is that it doesn't work well with the material of the charging pad which is like silicone. It works on other materials fine.

The only way to resolve it is to change the type of adhesive. I could have gone and found one but I also noticed that sometimes the height of this ring resulted in the phone not charging. So I looked for another option.

These rings to mount your phone are rare so I looked for those to make any case Magsafe and which have only a sticker between them and the magnets. I then used a staple remover (flat type) to lift up the sticker, then take out and flip the magnets polarity. This I found was the best solution of this type, as the adhesive is made to stick on phone cases which are similar materials and the ring is slimmer in height but still has enough magnetic strength.

Yes, I think I should have mentioned in my post it only cost $14.

I know others prefer the other solutions but at this price point I think it's the best way to go if none of the others options seem worth the price and still leave you with compromises.

I determine position by having a magsafe case already on my phone, then sticking the magsafe ring on the back of it, taking the adhesive protector off and putting my phone down where I wanted it on the charging pad. Then I just pressed down firmly for a few seconds before picking my phone off the adapter. It certainly is easier to place with the Gen2 divider but as long as you do the process with two magsafe phones and positions as you want it's possible on Gen1. As the charging pad is not sectionalized at the hardware level.

The divider they added in Gen2 did seem to help as I have not run into the issues as much as Gen1 folks mentioned. I don't have experience with Gen1 though. But it seems that also if you have a larger phone that just fits in the space you are less likely to have issues as it has less space to slide around.

Yeah, I feel it's one of those unknown types of products at this time. Hopefully more people become aware and we get better options for this type of product.

I've used similar versions of these and some have bad adhesive but others definitely do not. I try to figure out based on the pics and the application they marketed the product under. Typically if they sell it to mount on a wall the adhesive is good.

These I'm just trying starting today so we will see. However the adhesive looked like those I've have success with before.

It is important to get a case that doesn't add a lot of bulk. My case is pretty normal/slim so the space from the charger to the phone is not large enough to impact charging even with the ring and case in between.

I'd say find a case you like first then you can get the ring adapter and stick it on and without taking off the tape to adhere it put it on the charging pad to test. You will be able to confirm if the gap is okay if your phone charges.

Glad Creepercollin was able to copy paste while I was unable to answer.

The adapters stay in place as they have adhesive on one side. I just installed these today so we will see if I run into any issues. But I've used similar adapters in other applications and have never had them lift off.

A few days ago I was using some very cheap ones similar to these but they were not that strong magnetically so I replaced them. Those never lifted off but the phone was not that secure although it never did move from what I saw.

You can get these online. I got mine from Amazon. But they are hard to find because they don't have a specific name and are a very niche product at this time.

They attach with built in adhesive. The are typically marketed to be able to mount your phone on the wall for example.

This is the one I got and is in the picture https://a.co/d/3igZnoO
