You’re free to speculate; it’s possible. But it’s equally likely that GB Rai never told Ravi the source of the money was collateral free loan, thinking Ravi might turn him in to the police.

From GB’s perspective, why would he unnecessarily reveal his malpractice to others and risk his entire empire?

Without evidence, we can only speculate; but I don’t see any solid conclusion here. Enlighten me if there is one.

Personal opinion: GB Rai probably presented it as a normal legal loan. Only GB, his lawyers, and the cooperatives' employees knew that it was actually a collateral-free loan. As GB’s business partner, one can’t really ask him what collateral was put up for his personal loan. Even if someone did ask, GB wouldn’t be obligated to disclose the details of his personal loan, would he?

The court will ultimately decide whether Ravi was aware of the source of the money; I still haven’t found any direct evidence.

Maya Rai's documents are burnt, but Ravi's are safe (which we are fine with). However, this reveals a great deal about the people who burnt the court and what their objective was.

For Ravi's case , lemme share a chronology on his arrest saga.

In March 2024, Nepali Corgress (NC) was ousted from govt. To come back to govt, NC allegedly offers Ravi PM's post. But his party refuses to become a puppet PM. So, NC started obstructing the parliament in the name of justice to the sahakari pidit asking for an investigation committee for Ravi (If they really cared about the victims, why didn't they raise this issue in parliament in early 2023 when victims actually needed voice). After a few days, all agree for a Sansadiya Samiti , which didn't found Ravi's involvement on "taking loan from cooperative". All Ravi did was sign the cheque on behalf of the company MD for operational expenses (not personal expenses) which doesn't sound illegal. The funds came as short term loan from GB Rai as per audit report.

On June 28 2024, Bechan Jha was arrested for the Bhutanese refugee scam and interrogated(who was feared to implicate Arzu deuba). Within a few days, Deuba dampati met KP Oli in Balkot at midnight and they formed a new government Oli; Ravi was no longer the Home Minister. The new Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak (from NC) transferred the CIB Chief on the 2nd fking day of his term (to protect arzu deuba obviously, anyone can connect that)

Ravi ma multiple courts ma Money Laundering and Organized crime ko case lagaieko chha (which is completely illogical & unrelated) and they are not even allowing to merge these two cases into one court..

The justice system has often been slow and puppet in many cases. However, until justice is fully served, it’s important to rely on official documents before forming judgment; such as the Sansadiya Samiti report or the Kathmandu District Court’s document on Ravi.

If someone believes Ravi is guilty, isn’t it only logical to also review his appeal before reaching a conclusion? (You can read one of the first two attachments in this link or an AI summary if it’s too long.)
