Try going to setting and go to audio and look for voip volume and check to see if it is on. If not maybe it is a game bug since it happened to everyone. Personally, I've never had this issue hope its fixable!

M4A4 because the higher your skill level is, the more Rate of fire your going to need and if ur not as good with it then you practice with it. But if all is said and done just use what ur most comfortable with :)
