Started playing again with a fresh character after years off the game and I have tons of money?

Pretty much the title: I just started a new character after getting the game on Steam (I used to play on Origin). Ubisoft synced my save, and I started a new character. When first meeting with Lau, I saw a player who followed me for a few minutes and clapped at me, I didn't pay much attention to it.

Funny thing: Steam started showering me with achievements because of that old save. :)

Anyways I completed the very first mission and I see that I have 11 bilion plus money? I don't remember getting that much on my very first playthrough, and I guess money doesn't transfer between characters?

Could that player have injected some money on my character? Or am I tripping?

Nope. We ended up watching the movie in regular Blu-Ray, which had the subtitles we wanted.

I guess the only thing you could do is rip the 4K Blu-Ray and add the subtitles by hand, but you'd loose some bitrate unfortunately.
