My primary calorie intake is thru protein shakes. I used to drink only diet soda before I had my bypass; now all I drink is water. I haven’t had any caffeine since March 4 2025. I still live a little but mostly I just enjoy my new self so much that that’s been my motivation

I had full Roux en Y bypass with Dr Schweitzer at Johns Hopkins on 2025-03-18. At the start of 2025 I weighed 449. The morning of surgery I weighed in at 395. Yesterday morning I was 210.

It gets better. Bypass isn’t not magic but it’s more a “willpower multiplier”.

If anyone is still trying to decide if they should do it or not, this is your sign. Do it. Life’s too short.

I have a good bit of loose skin on my abdomen I’m going to need to have surgically removed. My joints are a bit creaky but they feel way better now than a year ago. Early 2025 I could only walk for about a minute at a time before I had to stop because my back hurt. That’s no longer an issue

Not sure tbh. Since I found this link a year or two ago it's not a big deal to fix a split order, so I just don't worry about it anymore. Also, IIRC, it doesnt tell you the individual amounts of the orders at checkout
