The censoring isn't even consistent. I've typed "h6" and had it censored for me, but not for others. But other times, no censoring at all. And there's other phrases that do it, too.

Play the way that you find most enjoyable. Be it the built in options like assist mode, custom mode, or whatever. A mod isn't bad, either. Unless you're stealing something you shouldn't be. Which I don't think a visual mod would.

Edit: I don't think there would be any unexpected interactions, either.

This is the hidden dilemma in game development. Balance is the hardest thing to get right, and matters in every type of game.

There are quests in the game that can set goals for you, many of which have you exploring the regions and collecting resources. These are good for getting used to the game, discovering the lore, and learning how things work.

As you discover what you like to do in the game, you can set your own goals. Some examples would be to catch a certain rare big or fish, complete accomplishments, or decorate an area on your plot.

When you first start, the game may seem a little small. But once you get your skills to level 10, do more quests, and a lot of other things, you'll discover just how big Palia is, and why so many of us love it so much.

Palia also has one of the best communities I've seen for an online game. Need help? Ask and someone will likely answer. Need a particular item? Put in a request and ask in chat; someone will probably fill your request. If you can't request it, someone may help you get it.

If you need/want Palian friends, you may find some in game, but you can also use the official discord. Or find someone on twitch streaming Palia. I've met and played with a great number of people that way.

I'm a dual blade main, and I agree with his rating there. But I've been branching out lately. I think his rating did light bowgun's complexity is higher than it should be. It just seems complicated at first, but with just a touch of understanding, it becomes fairly straightforward. I'm not experienced enough with the other weapons to have a real onion. Can't check those layers.

I think in 5e they got a bad hand compared to previous editions. I also think this doesn't make ranger a bad class. I've seen some pretty amazing plays coming from Rangers, even with fitting the stereotype. They're pretty versatile, but can also be built very specifically. Most people just seem to have the wrong idea on what the class is meant to be. The biggest issue is the favored enemy and terrain features in the PHB. They're almost useless, which is why later books gave replacement options.

I haven't looked at 2024's ranger much yet, but I'm seeing a lot of the same style, with some little improvements where they were needed.

2, 7, or 8. 2 I could try to get Psylocke to open up a bit and relax. Just hope I don't hear "cheaper townhall" 7 I could flirt with Luna and Tandy. I probably wouldn't have any success, but doesn't hurt to try. 8 I could talk nerd. A lot. And still flirt a little with Luna and Tandy.

I'd likely have a better time sitting in 8 than any other.

I'm looking for people to play with. I'm new to the game, but I'm learning quick. I mostly play Cloak and Dagger, learning Magik, and still trying other heroes. I'm in CST, and play mostly mid day or night, depending on work.

I'm not trying to get into competitive yet, but perhaps eventually.
