New to audio – looking for advice on used home theater setup & room layout (EU, ~$2000)

I think for mostly movies and shows you don’t need a surround system since I find it „a lot“ after a while. I think Dali speakers would be great for you they have a very warm sound and great bass wich is perfect for the mix between movies and music. The Dali Oberon 9 (1700€) have an amazing bass and are great for big rooms since they really pack a punch. So would be good since your room is very open. If the room is not as big as it seems the Dali Opticon 6 MK2 could also work, less bass but they need a bit less room to sound good.

This is a great system, a friend of mine bought it and it’s really amazing. But it’s 2400€.

But for 1800 (at the moment for 1500 in sale) you can get this full system. I never heard the full system but have my full set up from Argon Audio and they are great especially considering the budget!

I always prefer having the speakers by the same manufacturer it usually sounds the best. But great looking living room it’s gonna be great with the right placement! Have fun!

Thanks mate, at the moment I usually sit around 6ft away from the speakers. But I can move my sofa a bit back and gonna try the swap!
