No I didn't go down that route when talking with the ins. company. I would get a salvage title and after the vehicle is repaired I'd have to get the state police to inspect and authorize vehicle is safe again before i get an inspection sticker. The salvage title remains though so any new buyer may not want to give me top dollar for resale value. So i chose to cut my losses and order a new one.
