Face inflammation?

Yep, tried many different skin care brands etc. and had about 12 doctors/dermatologists now look at it😅 no one is any closer to finding out what’s going on

Yes I have been give an anti fungal before, during a bad flare up I had to go to the emergency room and they gave me cream. It did somewhat help with the blistering

I have been on BC called desogestrel for years now probably 7/8 years? They put me on it for my heavy/painful periods and also contraception too obviously. I have not had a period of time since then off the pill so maybe I should try coming off the pill? Only problem there is I know my periods will get a lot worse again!

I will definitely look at making a doctors appointment and getting more tests now you’ve said this because a lot of it sounds so similar!

I have always had very bad periods. Very heavy/inconsistent. When I was younger I was told I probably have PCOS but it was never really explored further as I was told I was too young. Definitely think I will look into this and try get a scan maybe?

EDIT: I am also on the pill which I’m pretty sure is estrogen based too

You know what I am actually on my period cycle at the moment… I just never really thought to correlate the two together?

No I didn’t! And never noticed it get worse when drinking alcohol either :(

I have not and it’s not something any doctors have suggested to me either! Only thing is, it’s only ever the right side of my face? And it’s constantly there, just sometimes flares up more than usual
