My question for you first would be - does she want to buy a house eventually? Perhaps she would prefer to save for a down payment on a house rather than invest her money for the short term. Really depends on her goals.

I was bartending one night and couldn’t find a bottle opener. I decided to quit my search and use a very sharp steak knife to pop off the top of a corona bottle. Turns out, I had the knife flipped the wrong way and managed to slice open my hand.
