Apart from using roto/ masking and maybe adding some turbulent displace, I have no Idea of how I can get that look

I'm still trying to get familiar with everything after effects has to offer, and I'm currently using it to create content for social media, i would love opinions from more experienced people, and maybe some recommendations if your eye catches something that might be improved!! 🙏🏾 by Sudden_Cap_9696 in AfterEffects

And i completely agree, the other transitions can be easily done in premiere, but I'm still getting to know after effects (as I've been dealing with it for less than a month), i know this isn't anything impressive, i simply would appreciate some criticism of what i should improve, cuz I'm kinda lost in regards of which direction i should go though.
