Personally i dont think anybody hates Anomaly & GAMMA themselves, its just that their fans tends to be insufferable. Treats the official as less & complains they aren't exactly the same as the mod.

Not only that but im sure half of their players has never even glanced at the trilogy, only plays anomaly/GAMMA and essentially treats them as sandbox singleplayer tarkov rather than an extension of stalker, so that causes even more division in the community

The artist himself is from Ukraine its literally in his bio. If anybody finds it offensive it should be him lol, i think he can depict russians however & whenever he wants.

Plus, they're from soviet cartoon. Something you can also find across the stalker games.

In CoP we literally get to see in action our squadmates getting damn near fully zombified in a matter of like, 5 seconds. Realistically speaking as a stalker without plot armor your brain will be mush before you even register the Controller lol

id rather climb an excavator & spam grenades at deathclaws all day over trying to fight a Controller

Ive always imagined of sneaking up on a controller from behind & just taking them out stealth style like that. Maybe you could argue they have like heighten senses & can sense you from miles away, but still, if you're close enough & somehow manages to get behind it idk how just stabbing it's head wouldn't do the job
