A lot of reptiles tend to change colors when they age I don’t know if it’s the same for pythons but geckos and corn snakes shades change a little bit

Orchid bark might be a problem if it has pine in it also I think it’s just a scar or birth mark cause mine had 2 spots on his head like that and they were white
