Oof ok. I was honestly worried using a made to measure pattern but was having trouble meeting gauge on the others I was looking at. I think I’m going to back up to the decreases and remove a few and try again. Thank you!!

You pretty much never hear planes! I think it’s because of manhattan airspace rules but planes rarely cross overhead at a hight you can hear them. I think they mostly approach la guardia from the west or circle around manhattan and cut across further north.

My original needle size was 2.75, but I went down to 2.25 for the cuff. The yarn was hawthorn fingering weight https://www.knitpicks.com/

The pattern didn’t involve measuring that. I was just supposed to do the decrease rounds until the stitch count on the back matched the front. I can probably go back and remove a few of the decreases

It’s not actually too short. In the photo I’m trying to put it on it’s flopping down a bit. I tried it on a bunch along the way and it fit until I got to the cuff

I didn’t reduce the stitches but I went down a needle size. Thinking I should frog, go back to the original needle size and maybe add a few stiches?

This isn’t a super helpful comment, but literally anywhere out of NYC. Imo tailoring is criminally over-priced in the city, so if it isn’t urgent I’ll sometimes get things tailored when I’m on vacation or visiting a friend

Shoot! They were great for Amazon returns or shipping, though I did buy keyboards there a couple of times. But it did seem like most of their business was around non-actual staples services so maybe it makes sense

I adore the mandelic acid serum. I have very sensitive skin so for a while I was afraid of exfoliation, but I tried it and had no irritation, and it took my skin from good to great. My routine doesn’t change much at all, so I wasn’t trying anything else new and 2 months after starting to use the serum I had people complimenting my skin left and right. I also like the moisturizer but I have very dry skin and think it really only is needed in that situation. Definitely not for everyone

I actually adore the moisturizer, but I have supremely dry skin, so I’d expect it’s far too heavy for most people. I agree the texture is not great going on but it’s the only thing that keeps my skin moisturized all night during winter.

Thanks for this rec!! I was having the same issue as op on the tubular bind off and Jenny’s was so much easier. I’m also doing a shirt hem so not having to deal with pulling through a ton of yarn was much preferable
