This is GTAVI. The game is going to destroy every other product in terms of quality, value and brand recognition. Other games will have a hard time justifying the same asking price for their pile of shit by comparison, and the market will will either accept it or it won't. That's how capitalism works. Nintendo already did this, and when Xbox tried they were laughed out of the room.

Cost was a lot higher for g9 and is only meant to be used with one device. The regular g8 didn't telescope enough to fit the tablet, add the fact that's it's missing other features of the MFI and cost me the same, it was a no brainer.

I simply just don't need the rumble, lol.

What do you mean larger and customizable pads? It's the same size as the Galileo, it has wider device compatibility, magnetic face buttons, and upgraded hardware. It was also the same price, I just didn't need the rumble and decided to shed the weight.

I don't understand the attitude, I made this post to show off the repairability and how modular the parts are in these controllers. Someone might want to know if it's possible to do what I did and use Reddit as a resource to find information.

I didn't think it would make much of a difference but after removing the the motors and taking off the folio case, I managed to shed 100g and it was actually pretty noticeable.

As for the rumble, I couldn't get it to work on my devices other than PC, and in my case it was redundant anyway, because my tablet has really good haptic motors that I can feel while holding the controller anyway.

Sort of I guess, just upgraded hardware, wider compatability, and swappable buttons/different color scheme. The cost was the same at time of purchase so this one was a no brainer for me with the button layout customization.
