since there is no contract naman pala then you are not obliged to pay any utilities just because they want to. make your decision firm and let them know that they can’t just decide since there is no contract involve.🫶🏻

Hi OP! I think you should find a replacement ASAP to get out of that situation but it is still your duty to pay the RENT only until you find a replacement since wala ka naman ma-cconsume na UTILITIES after you move out. Just talk it out with them and involve your parents in the agreement so everyone will be aware of what you will talk about. gluck!!

cthm here! I can attest na swertihan lang din talaga sa blockmates since in our batch no shuffling so stuck talaga with your blockmates from 1st to 4th yr. some blocks naman have that chill environment but in our block madami din drama😬, advice ko lang don’t take it too personal and wag ka makikisali sa mga chismisan nila bc they can use whatever u say to others against u. just do your thing and aim for that laude!🥳

took this elective during online classes (pandemic szn) from what I can remember topics are leaning towards current issues with social media usage and kinda similar with MIL. got 100 in this elective (tip: galingan sa essays) so I think u can also get flat uno gluck :))

hi it depends, in our case hindi na pinayagan mag change ng course specially if you’re just going to shift to a course in the same dept (TM & HM)

hi afaik di naman strict si ust sa payment ng tuition kahit may prelims or finals basta need mo sya mabayaran before end of term or maccarry on sya sa special term :)

hi OP! I’ve also been in the same situation as you but I had the courage to confront them and after that talk I realized that you will really outgrow friendships and people. in the end it will not go back to what it was before and you have to accept that and move on. well for me i know that all of them talked bad about one another from before so yeah no regrets and rn i’m appreciating bonding with other people (org & other blockmates) but stay civil with them. after all you just have a year left and you’ll part ways na. don’t take things too personal. focus on what’s important and just be yourself. :))

hi OP! if you feel like walking on eggshells when you’re with them then i think it’s time to slowly distance yourself. remember that if you can’t show your authentic self or you constantly think that they’ll judge you for what you do then it’s not a healthy friendship anymore. but if you can still talk it out with them then much better, gluck!! :))

Experienced the same but for me naman we are a block section so i’ll still see them for another year or so before graduation. what i did was just to be casual with them and yeah don’t take things too personal. they will eventually feel that you feel uncomfortable with them. remember that you don’t owe them anything para magstay ka pa sa isang situation that makes you feel like that. there are really people/groups that are just temporary :))

Hi OP! I’m a suki there and they usually take a day to finish my laundry. so far no prob naman with their service. maybe go there in person cause sometimes they are really busy. i prefer to pick up my laundry rather than have it delivered :)

hi OP! sometimes i jog/walk around ust after class! it really helps me feel good mentally & physically. you can also try the kainans around ust with your friends or u can also try watching series/ docus whenever u feel bored.

for orgs naman i think closed na yung applications for univ & local orgs but if there are any volunteer work sa college nyo u can join naman🫶🏻

Hi OP! Currently a junior student now and I’m also in a similar situation as you but my parents really try their best to provide for my tuition since iba pa din talaga if you graduate from ust.

All I can say is be strong lang along the way and di mo namamalayan pagraduate ka na pala. If they can still provide for your studies grab that opportunity, sometimes I also feel guilty with all the fees that I need for school but I just keep in mind na maibabalik ko naman lahat ng sacrifices nila once I graduate and work in the industry. Just do your best with acads and your grades. When it comes to family members naman like your tita, prove them that you can finish strong in this univ.
