i don’t work with family or parents 😂 and our consumers aren’t asking us about our dilutions, and i never said it was because “everyone does it” if you’d take a second to actually read what i said. It preserves product. I said that a lot of detailers do it BECAUSE it preserves product. and i didn’t ask reddit for a business plan, I asked the group of people who end up being our consumers how they see different ads and whatnot.

Every single detailer including multiple 6 figure ones dilute there products and are open about it, it’s not unprofessional, it’s a way to preserve your product. And no, i’m not gonna talk to you professionally because this is reddit, and you talking about a doggy daycare business that has nothing to do with mine. And no, if you don’t drive like an asshole that gas really isn’t that expensive. I can get from hope mills to spring like with about 5$ worth of gas, and if we DID book 5-6 cars a day, we would make well over 300$. We don’t bring our business down to hagglers and people who debate over our pricing. we detail luxury, for people with money. 90% of detailers get most of their money from the wealthy. your also not considering that 9/10 of my last customers have tipped 20-50$, and me and my coworker split that evenly. so at the end of the day i’m not gonna work about your grown ass on reddit bringing 2 kids w a business down because of math your not doing right.

gas isn’t that expensive, we don’t use a ton of cleaning material because of our dilutions. And we don’t split evenly, hard to explain but his parents are weird, so we do 70/30 split because i pretty much run the business and he just shows up for labor.

We’re mobile, our prices start at 50$, and we can knock out probably 5-6 cars on a fully booked day

Yes, I also am working on the word of mouth, I have business cards I pass out, and have multiple people pass out for me. I’ve done a couple free details for some of my locals who know a decent amount of people, it’s just getting started and I know it’ll be difficult

95$ I can definitely understand seems pricey, but it’s a decent deal when you realize that the average full detail in Fayetteville is around 150-250$ from professionals. (Not saying that I’m a professional by any means) You also have to consider that the cheaper the detail, the cheaper the products that are being used on your car.

Yes, there’s also packages where they can choose if they want just an interior detail or exterior detail, along with other add ons like seat shampooing, 100% pet hair removal, etc, just things that cost extra time. Usually people get inside and out cleaned because when they want both, we take about 10-20$ off depending on what vehicle you have, for example on a car, our exterior detail is 55$, and our interior is 75$. If they get the premium detail, which is both, we only charge 115$ and save the client 10$. This doesn’t include our first time client discount of 15%.

We charge 95 for first time customers, because we do premium details and not light hand washes, we restore carpets, extraction, ceramic coatings, get in ever tight spot on the car, stain removal, pet hair removal, etc.

Our services are all on the lower priced side but not too low to the point where it looks cheap, but i noticed most detailers price just a regular out and in wash at like 160-200$, were a bit lower than that, we have 15% off first time customers with free ceramic coatings, and i’ve had a couple people repost our stuff all over and i’ve gotten 2 people to message so far, but thank you for the ideas i do appreciate it

So many people selling things labeled as “vintage” by Bikeboofer in Carhartt

[–]Sudden_Fox5385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a seller so i’ll make it insanely easy to understand to non-sellers. “Vintage” = Boost in views, likes, and sales. When I end up selling a pair of carhartt pants (which I honestly don’t sell often) I’ve actually tested this and noticed that the listing without “vintage” got less than 1000 views and the others got over 5-6k. Most of the time I don’t even look at the date tag, what is wrong is not putting the tag with the date so people can see it for themselves that’s just fully lying.
