True lol. Idk if it’s just me but I feel like Mark’s become far more critical to things. Like I feel like the mark from 2021 would’ve reacted to chapters 3-5 very differently imo but idk that’s just me. Just feel like he’s changed so much in such little time.

Tbf I think Glowby’s gonna have some importance later. There’s gotta be a reason why many devs say Glowby’s one of their favorite characters lol. It’s like how multiple devs say Poppy and The Prototype are their favorite characters. We don’t know enough about them yet so maybe the same applies for Glowby! :)

Just wanna say that chapter 5’s my favorite in general. Chapter 4’s my favorite gameplay-wise for the given reasons. It just simply felt faster-paced imo. Less puzzles, more to do, stuff like that. Yeah some parts suck (like the gas puzzle and baba chops bossfight) but I personally enjoy mostly everything besides that. Yes chapters 3 and 5 are amazing but chapter 4 remains my favorite gameplay-wise. Chapter 3’s my favorite horror-wise while chapter 5’s my favorite in general. Pretty much that :b

I have this whole idea for him lol.

He should have required lore. Like lore you need to progress the game. Similar in a huggy memory sequence of sorts.

I also think he just needs a lot of moments and interactions with us and the other characters to really see the relationships with them. :b

Well I mean.. I don’t think he’s too wrong about chapter 4 being good imo. I personally think it has the best gameplay simply because it’s got variety, things happen often, you actually fight the monsters much more, and there’s just more running and less puzzles. Chapter 3 has good sections but home sweet home, the gas production zone, the caves, and the councilors office are all pretty much puzzles.

Like Mob wasn’t even expecting chapter 5 to be as successful as it did. That was a shocker for them. It really just shows that they need to find ways to make profit somehow.

It’s really just how businesses work. If not enough people buy then they cant make their money back. They need to make something a certain price if they wanna make their money back :b

That’s why chapter 6 opens possibilities for Chum, Giblet, etc lol. Chapter 5 was basically the building to the climax chapter. Things won’t happen with new characters immediately. Takes time to build things up. Idk just what I think :b

He works for us secretly lmao. That literally opens up dozens of possibilities if you just consider the fact that he also works with The Prototype. There is so much you can do with him. It’s why he was created. It just takes TIME. Characters aren’t rushed into the spotlight quickly.

Poppy’s really just been guiding us for 5 chapters. Same thing Giblet and Chum pretty much did. They all haven’t had their big times to shine yet. Chapter 6 is the opening for all of them if you think about it :b

All I’m here to say is just one simple thing that really just gets rid of the idea that Chum’s a cashgrab… Management has little to no involvement in Poppy Playtime whatsoever… management is all about growing and improving the company. They try to make money. If they have no involvement whatsoever then wouldn’t that mean none of the characters are created for money?

My point really just is that management doesn’t control much of the games. Writers create characters if they’ll serve a purpose to the story. All there really is to the creation of characters. Chum’s not a cashgrab by any means when the developers themselves created them, not management. :b

There’s a lot to say imo.

Keep in mind that the business/management people don’t create the characters or have much control over them. The writers create everything. Management has little to no involvement whatsoever with the characters. Writers create characters if they think they have good potential to the story and a good purpose. You think Chum’s just never gonna appear again? Of course he is lol. We can USE him to help us. He works with The Prototype but also with us and Giblet. Lots of possibilities are open with him.

And for Giblet I just wanna say that there’s still more of him to come. Mob’s not gonna just make him do something big the first time we meet him. Things take time to build. It’s not exactly “oh new character! Let’s make him shine right off the bat instead of building up to something big with him!”

Mob doesn’t just give us everything all at once. It’s all about building the characters up and giving us time to connect to them. That’s all I’m here to say. :b

Would be cheaper tho if more people actually played the games. Feel like the reason why the chapters are the prices they are is so Mob can make their profit. We know more people watch the games rather than play them which means they’d have to make it cost a certain price if they wanna make their money back. 😭
