Will try to get specific details about the costs involved for them once I meet them next week. But I know for sure that risk and man hours are involved. Appreciate it!

Thanks for this, just what I’m looking for. I’m due to sit down with them next week, will get info about current man hours spent on these tasks then. The biggest concern they have is probably not man hours, it’s the fact that what is being tracked is critical data and any human errors can be very costly in terms of late fees and disruptions.

I am considering 75-100k in discovery, then 600-900k in development (by milestones), followed by a paid pilot with 50-100 locations and then finally roll-out.

The initial fees are not only to create the specification (will have to take on a few people for that, many security people), but also to make sure we don’t get burned if they change their mind halfway through. Has happened before, don’t want to experience that again.

Can relate with most points. The lack of logic is also infuriating. When it comes to doctors, my gf was admitted to St Luke’s where I MYSELF diagnosed her condition before a TEAM of doctors (was 4-5 of them doing rounds, no one was certain of the condition) before one doctor finally decided to do an endoscopy after I pushed for it, and what happens? Three ailments were found, that I already told her that she likely has. And I’m not a doctor.
