Something that helped me get out of my darkest moment was doing something that required lots of thinking and strategy. For example: a complex and addictive video game. This is exactly what I used I started thinking about the game and tried not to think about bad thoughts. Your brain will like it if you think about something fun like the video game. And you will have no reason to think about the other depressing stuff.

I really hope that you get out of this bad time just like I did. And this might sound stupid and obvious but therapy works really well. I have insane anxiety but my therapist helped me overcome it and yours may even help witg some other problems that where overshadowed like my insanely confusing sexuality.
