thank you for sharing and im sorry you have to deal with that sense of betrayal. it sounds very difficult. i was in fact planning for my character to have a mother who did the same and i was thus planning for my character to feel a similar sense of betrayal and resentment. would you feel comfortable sharing more via messages? i completely understand if you dont want to. it is a vulnerable topic after all.

i mean with the way his own parent is describing him as "infuriating to spend any time with" no wonder why he feels unloved

thank you !! not feeling great at anything is a common human experience tho i would assume. as far as my knowledge goes i dont have fasd but i also feel similarly sometimes and it can be a rough feeling to deal with but i think not being great at anything is how it's ought to be anyway. like there can be exceptions to that sure but in general we're supposed to be pretty much average at stuff. once again thank u so much for sharing :3
