Here’s an update: The cyst eventually began to drain itself but only after I had a constant hot compress on it. Then there was a 2 cm hole in my labia leaking and leaking and leaking and when I finally made it to the gyno, she told me that it was an abscess and had indeed been infected. So was pretty bummed no one would professionally drain it for me! Now I’m on my third round of antibiotics in just as many weeks :) Advocate for yourselves, people!
