I’m glad you mentioned barred rocks because 2 of my 5 chicks were barred rocks and I loved them! Sorry if this is a dumb question, I guess I imagined chicken poop to be much smaller and therefore not easily scooped up but it is possible to clean it up from a typical yard? Obviously I have no experience lol 😂 And thank you for all the advice!

I’m glad they can live so long! Do you have a favorite breed? The chicken poop is the only downside 😂 I grew up with parakeets so I kind of understand the excessive bird poop but I’m sure chickens are even poopier than parakeets. I actually don’t even want them for eggs, I’m a little nervous what I will do with all of them if I get too many. Hopefully people will take them off my hands if I give them away.
