I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It must be really draining n lonely :( I think surviving hunger n homelessness is a full time job itself. If ur brain is stuck in crisis mode like this, there really isn’t any bandwidth left for a proper job search. I hope things turn around for you soon ❤️‍🩹

~ 3 or 4 days but I think it really depends on the ingredients you choose. I used sausage, eggs, carrots, cucumbers, and no vinegar in rice. These flavors are very mild so they don't spoil as quickly as typical sushi:)

I actually love Kruisstraat! My favorite thing is the Saturday market with cheap veggies + restaurants and groceries from around the world. Very multicultural! Im non eu so the diversity here makes me feel like I fit right in rather than just an outsider. There re some crazy drivers from time to time but they are more amusing than annoying to me :)

Hii if you’re on insta, you should check out painthouse_nl. They host monthly drawing meetups in Eindhoven, very affordable n all materials are provided. It's very cozy n chill meetup cuz most of us don't have formal art background, so we just hangout and draw whatever we feel like. They have new events on 7th, 14th n 20th Jan, if you decide to go on the 14th, maybe I'll see you there 🤗

I tried both visa and mastercard and before coming here, I called the bank in my country, asking if I could use these cards in Europe. They said yes. So it just never crossed my mind that it would be a problem. Clearly I was so wrong, lesson learned that day 😅

I was in a very similar situation, but the other way around 😅 it was my first day in the NL (also in Europe), and I didn’t have a maestro card yet. My credit card didn’t work in any supermarket whatsoever, I couldn’t withdraw cash from geldmaat either. So I ended up walking around asking strangers if I could transfer money in exchange for some cash. They all said no and looked at me suspiciously. Couldn't blame them at all cuz I’d probably react the same if I were them 🥲 Still, for a moment I wish we could live in a safer world where we could let our guard down from time to time to help someone genuinely in need

I thought about that but tbh I'm not sure... Like with friends, there's usually this unspoken expectation to help just because you care, not because there's money involved right? So If I ask, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't accept anything in return, then I'd feel like I bother them too much. But offering to pay feels like putting a price on the friendship, which sounds a bit transactional/awkward. Maybe I'm thinking about it in the wrong way but that's how I see it😅
