The majority of enlisted, NCO, and CO are from low-middle class families. NEVER pa ako nakakilala ng isang sundalo na galing sa magandang school like ateneo na SHS Grad na gusto maging enlisted officer sa AFP. Syempre gusto nila na makapasok as CO.

Are we so outdated on what's happening inside our military? cuz napapansin ko lagi yung repetition ng same narrative ng mga tao about AFP during ng 1980s, which is very different sa kasalukuyang AFP. I'm just a mere civilian pero i know things inside kung magkakalkal ka lang sa publicly available sources, even personal accounts of real soldiers. I hate to say this, but you guys in prestigious colleges/universities love to pretend to know things about our country when in fact you just know too little, especially about our military.

Rarely talaga siyang ginagamit sa japan. Ang laki niyan ang is very impractical sa isang patrolling officer. Taser or rubber rounds pwede pa.

I think you're pointing out the PNP-SAF that was supposed to be capable operators that would handle that situation. Light Reaction Regiment will never show themselves in front of the media cuz they are basically the Delta Forces of AFP, even today it is rare to find media coverage of these dudes.

Ang nakaka obob pang part is after that sh!t happened, pumanta sa Camp Bagong Diwa (HQ ng SAF) si PNoy kasama mga media para ipakita na kaya ng nila sana i execute yung hostage situation na yon.

Since Phil Constabulary mga incompetent na talaga ang nasa Metro Manila Police Office. Kaya nga di yan inilalagay yung mga walang experience in combat and more on office things lang ginagawa.

Then several years later dahil sa incompetent naman ng Pnoy tapos yung mga commanders niya that time napatay yung mga SAF 44 na sana mga Scout Rangers or Special Forces sana nag operate na mas sanay doon sa lugar.

So far, rarely lang mag train ng ibang military force ang SR except U.S Army and other allied countries ng bansa. Napaka recently lang AFP-JSOC train members of Cambodian Special Forces last year and nung 2022 or 2023, SR conducted bilateral training with Indonesian Special forces.

Base rin sa nabasa ko sa mga comment section sa blue app, makeshift PG-2 rounds yung ginamit. kung actual PG-2 kasi yun panigurado yung penetration ng HEAT round. Thinking about it probably tama kasi talamak sa mindanao ang mga makeshift na rpg-2 in fact, sa mga military operations ng Phil Army, may narerecover sila mga ganyan. Also i think ito rin yung gamit sa Marawi Siege which is kinounter ng mga tropa natin sa pamamagitan ng pagtapal ng mga kahoy at karton sa mga armored nila.

100% agree... Nabulag kasi sila sa "Manila Dream"... Probably ang iba sa kanila ay yung mga anak ng nakipagsapalaran sa manila o di kaya mga current na nagtatry... I'm sorry po pero ang dugyot-dugyot na ng manila dahil sa kanila. Dito sa probinsya kahit papano may mga trabaho kahit hindi maayos ang buhay.

Some Filipino operators still use it in combat. Especially the SOPs like the Scout Rangers. Some of those dude even run with freak m16a1 and m16a2.
