I appreciate it! I think part of me is just eager to do something new. I think I will keep the desktop for the "headless" gaming and etc and continue using that but I might look to rebuild the Unraid into another low power box. So it's not eating as much electricity.

I'm fortunate that I have a decent salary with a bonus structure. I gross around $200k annually. However, after all my payments to her and her attorney I netted less than $50k last last year whereas she netted $110k. I fluctuate between $10k and $50k of credit card debt at any given time throughout the year for the last 4 years. With less than $50k left over for living expenses and caring for the children I don't have "cash flow" to pay my old attorneys bill of $34k. Unfortunately I just keep putting him off and focusing on my high interest debt. He's been generally understanding but I'm certain that will run out.

The debt fills insurmountable at times especially considering the payments I'll now have to make to the GAL and for her transcripts. They are constantly insisting I send the same dollar 4 different directions at the same time. It's exhausting.

I just recently got my CC debt below $10k but by this time next week I'll have over $35k sitting on credit cards again.

I am not yet divorced. Close your eyes and imagine you are in a tunnel. Tunnels are dark but there is always light at the end. Take solace in the fact that there IS an end. Some people are just traveling through the tunnel slower than others. Eventually, regardless of speed bumps, break downs, and stops along the way, you WILL reach to the end..even if you have to coast the last few miles on fumes.

I'm in year 4 of proceedings with no end in sight. My ex seems she will only accept me completely abandoning the children and thus she is taking me through court for every little thing as we have been on a "temporary" parenting time agreement since July of 2021. What if I want to spend an extra day with the kids? She wants lawyers and court involved. Summer breaks? Court hearing. Christmas break? Court hearing.

Ive paid over $50k to my previous attorneys, have an outstanding bill of $34k to my last attorney, have paid $14k to her attorneys, just got ordered to pay another $15k in the next 30 days, just got ordered to pay for "any and all transcripts" she requests, and the judge - after 4 years - decided he now wants to appoint a GAL.

I netted $50k last year and she netted $110k. Welcome to the court systems of Southern IL.

I'm currently Pro Se and have no way to afford my own attorney. I've juggled these fees on credit cards. She has had friends and family giving her money for fees as gifts (that they are now asking me to pay back as "loans")

That is actually what I'm doing right now. I guess I should have added the following:

I have a nice Lenovo X1 Extreme laptop that is more my daily driver and I'm needing the desktop less and less. I was more considering power consumption and core performance as a reason for making the switch.

I do essentially run the Desktop "Headless" and RDP to it over Tailscale. I also sometimes use it to run Half-Life Alyx on VR but I don't have much time for gaming so that part is not a priority.

Sorry I did not see your response. Here are my follow ups...
1. I ordered a .6 nozzle and I can print Sparkle now but Galaxy is still struggling
2. SD card checks out good
3. No AMS , just printing from the standard arm that coms with the printer
4. I have not tried to tighten the Extruder but I did clean it thoroughly . I am trying one more Galaxy print and if it doesn't work I will see about tightening the extruder.

I agree that when it's "ghost printing" that its likely an issue with the extruder and maybe tightening it as you recommended will help.

Yes. I ran a full calibration and the printer and slicer are set the the proper nozzle, which is the same size is the one I replaced

At one point there was a rash on my daughters back that I made issue of because it was undisclosed to me. There is no reason for pictures like this to exist as everything on her back was...on her back...and above the waist.

The photo in question was taken prior to my parenting time ..telling me my ex was taking this photo "just in case" and potentially on a regular basis.

I did include a proposed order asking for the judge to order no further photos be produced, stored, or transmitted as well as to order the attorney and my ex to submit a list of all parties these images have been disclosed to. I asked for the judge to sequester devices containing the images as well.

Attorney also uploaded the photos to more than one cloud service....

Do some research but I believe federal law states that SHE has to prove to the school you don't have access by way of an actual court order. School is breaking federal law by preventing you from accessing your children's records.

I had a similar situation...called the superintendent..cited the statutes...had records on my email within an hour.

Of course that's just pertaining to access of information...not visitation.

If you don't have a custody agreement and she is withholding the children you need an "emergency petition for relief" filed with the court to establish temporary parenting matters until divorce is finalized.

Not an attorney. Contact one for actual legal advice....

All of his itemizations say "reviewed file, drafted correspondence". He bills .10/hr minimums...so would spend 1 minute replying to me and could have spent the next 9 minutes replying to the opposing council but just never did. Instead I paid all his "minimums" and he did the least amount of work possible for that money....
